Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Sinapsis processes on this website and, in outline, in the installations of its clients. Sinapsis, Madrid, Spain, is responsible for the data of this website; each client is the data controller for the data in its own installation.

1. This website (getsinapsis.com)

• It uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. The language you choose is remembered in your browser only, and never sent to us.
• There are no forms that store data. Contact is by email: when you write to us, we keep your message to answer it and for as long as the conversation is relevant.
• Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own servers. No third-party resources are loaded.
• The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may record technical connection data (IP address, browser) to deliver the service and protect it from attacks, under its own privacy terms.

2. Client installations

• Each academy or school has its own installation and its own database, hosted in the European Union. Data from one client is never mixed with another's.
• The client is the data controller for the personal data of its students, families and staff. Sinapsis acts as data processor under a data processing agreement that forms part of the contract.
• Sign-in is restricted to accounts of the client's organisation (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365). Sinapsis stores no passwords. Sign-in data (name, email and profile picture of the organisation account) is used only to identify users within the installation.
• Features that use artificial intelligence receive only the information strictly necessary for the task, never contact details of families. The providers we use do not train their models on this data and keep it only for the time required to process the request.
• Every change in an installation is logged with its author. The client can export its data at any time and it is deleted when the contract ends.

3. Sub-processors

To provide the service we rely on infrastructure providers hosted in the European Union for application hosting, database, backups and email delivery, and on an artificial intelligence provider for drafting features. The current list, with the role and location of each provider, is given to clients on request and whenever it changes.

4. Your rights

If you are a student, a family member or a member of staff of a client, your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection are exercised before that client, which is the controller. We assist the client in answering. For data of this website, or if you do not know which client to contact, write to us and we will help.
